Robin and Sebastian have been friends for almost 20 years. Robin lives in China and Sebastian in Germany. They have worked on many hi-fi projects together.
Now, after almost 20 years of friendship, the two have decided to establish an audio brand for price-conscious but quality-oriented customers. audio pirates
Beryl
Beryl is Robin's wife. They both live in Shenzhen, China, with their two daughters. Beryl purchases all components for our ODM customers and for us. Beryl has been a buyer for over 20 years and has demonstrated excellent expertise at well-known companies.
Beryl plays a key role in ensuring that the products that leave our factory are of the highest quality - and still affordable.
Sebastian
Sebastian lives in Göttingen and was born in 1977. At the age of 16, he was already working in his friend Lutz's hi-fi shop alongside school. After graduating from high school, he went to work as a student trainee at the Japanese hi-fi manufacturer Kenwood. He then worked at Blaupunkt Car Multimedia, which was a company in the BOSCH Group at the time.
In 2006, he founded a company to import consumer electronics from the Asian economic area. A few years later, he decided to work as a management consultant for medium-sized companies and in the area of mergers and acquisitions. The audio pirates project started in 2023 and the German audio pirates & cammica EuropeGmbH was founded in 2024.
Robin
Robin was born in 1968 and lives in Hong Kong with his wife Beryl, who also works for audio pirates, and his children. Robin is an R/D developer (Research & Development) and is the technical brain of the Audio Pirates.
Robin has his own audio factory in Shenzhen and has been running the audio products business since 2001.
